For the first time in Home Show history, admission was free with a suggested non-perishable food donation or financial donation to benefit The Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.

Patrons and exhibitors both reacted favorably to the change in admission policy. Several exhibitors commented that they were pleased with the quantity and quality of show attendees. The Home Show committee will review whether or not to continue this policy next year.

The promotion brought in thousands of canned goods for The Salvation Army and raised over $2,200 for Habitat for Humanity! Here are comments received from our charitable partners:
